ABOUT MARA ALVES

With over 14 years of experience in the facilities management industry, I am a passionate and driven leader who specialises in delivering soft service programs to corporate and commercial clients. As the Managing Director of Nova, I oversee the operations, sales, and strategy of a dynamic and innovative company that offers contract cleaning, catering, pest control, window cleaning, and specialist cleaning services across the UK.In my current role, I leverage my skills in facilities, target market selling, and strategic business development to grow and diversify our customer base, increase our revenue and profitability, and enhance our reputation and brand awareness. I also focus on developing and empowering our talented and cross-trained staff, who are the backbone of our service delivery and customer satisfaction. I am proud to have led Nova to secure multiple contracts with prestigious clients, such as Unite Student, Fresh Students, Equans-Engie, Coach Gyms, and Leeds City Council, and to have achieved a 98% retention rate and a 30% growth rate in the past year.
