ABOUT AFFAN Q.

With over more than 4 years of experience as a chemical engineer, I have developed strong competencies in process engineering, particle engineering, and bioprocess engineering. I am passionate about designing, optimizing, and scaling up processes and products that are sustainable, innovative, and impactful. As a working student at Lignopure GmbH, I contributed to the company\'s technological developments by producing lignin particles for various applications, assessing and analyzing their quality, and evaluating their applicability in target products. I also performed project management activities, communicated with external technology providers and subcontractors, and planned, designed, installed, and tested pilot-scale equipment. Additionally, as a research assistant at Hamburg University of Technology, I assisted a Ph.D. student on a project related to solid-liquid mass transfer in porous particles food technology processes, where I carried out trials and experiments on roasted coffee beans and performed solid-state analytics. I am proficient in using various tools and software, such as Aspen Plus, Python, ANSYS, R, and Tableau, to model, simulate, analyze, and visualize data and processes. I also hold certifications in NEBOSH IGC and IOSH managing safely, which demonstrate my knowledge and skills in health and safety management. I am fluent in English, German, and Urdu, and I have excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.I am looking for a new role in the fields of chemical engineering, process engineering, and bioprocess engineering, where I can apply my skills and experiences to various projects and challenges. I am eager to learn new technologies, methods, and concepts, and to collaborate with diverse and talented teams. I am motivated by the opportunity to create value and positive impact for the environment, society, and industry.
