ABOUT MANYA KUMAR
Computer Engineering student at the University of Ottawa pursuing the Engineering Management and Entrepreneurship option, with a strong interest in systems design. I enjoy building practical solutions and understanding how technology works right from the logic level, from digital circuits and computer architecture to software development and networking systems.My technical experience began with a dual-credit IT Hardware and Networking program at SAIT, where I gained hands-on experience with hardware configuration, virtualization, and network troubleshooting. Since then, I’ve expanded my skills through engineering coursework and projects focused on embedded systems, software development, and system optimization.Alongside technical work, I bring leadership and organizational experience as Founder and Co-President of a growing student association and as a leader within the University of Ottawa Engineering Competition, managing large-scale events and cross-functional teams.Currently seeking internship and research opportunities where I can apply strong technical fundamentals, leadership skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset to building impactful engineering solutions.
