ABOUT MANYA GOYAL
I am a fourth-year Biology student at the University of British Columbia and an International Major Entrance Scholarship (IMES) recipient, with extensive experience in hospital-based, patient-facing clinical research. I’ve recruited and consented patients in emergency and outpatient settings, supported clinical assessments, and managed research data using REDCap across studies in aging, cognition, mobility, breast cancer health equity, and substance use care. I have also led academic and public health initiatives, including organising research conferences and coordinating community response efforts during the COVID-19 crisis. I am driven by patient-centered research, health equity, and translational medicine.
