Triage, troubleshoot & resolve production support alerts and tickets. • Participating in application deployment and DR activity • Perform detailed analysis and RCA\'s on issues around availability, scalability, and performance. • Provide guidance to development team to ensure accurate monitoring and metrics are being built into the applications before going to production. • Run the Production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health • Working closely with third parties, interacting with many of Apple Pay partners to resolve platform issues • Monitor high traffic systems responsible for Apple Pay including applications, containers, middleware, physical hardware & databases. • Monitor and report on service level objectives for a given applications services. Work with business and product owners to establish key performance indicators. • Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot and restore system functionality • Automation using Ruby, Python and Go lang.
