In my present engagement with Amazon, I am in charge of product management and I deliver improved business results through building greenfield (growth) technology solutions, and fine-tuning existing product features. I have built products for the buyer as well as supplier side. Since I took this role, I have led several key initiatives aimed at revenue optimization. For example, I have built features in Search, Detail Page (product listings), Catalog, Cart, Checkout, and Fulfillment. I led the Professional Healthcare business, including launching a customized product for bringing eCommerce solutions to verified and licensed healthcare customers. I also launched the Professional Beauty and Professional Electronics businesses on Amazon, with several other businesses to be launched soon. Furthermore, I initiated a refined approach toward product and technology strategies for Healthcare and Large Enterprise segments (two of the highest revenue-generating segments) and directed the Product and Engineering teams in building a Wholesale Distribution business. What makes me proud is the impact I have left through capacity building and facilitating succession for several employees. I have effectively mentored several product leaders, guided some into management roles, and guided engineers to perform technology leadership roles. Moreover, I have guided two employees to transform into successful entrepreneurs and establish new businesses. Highlights- Launched the Professional Beauty and Professional Electronics businesses for Amazon- Nominated as the STL (Single Threaded Leader) and selected by the executive leadership team to oversee the product development and launch of one of Amazon’s key priority initiatives - Wholesale Distribution- Launched Amazon’s COVID-19 response globally, by enabling critical supplies for those on the frontlines.
