Manuel Sansigre was appointed Chief Financial Officer in January 2024. In this dual global and U.S. role, Manuel oversees the management and coordination of all fiscal planning, reporting, and analysis for Penguin Random House U.S. and provides financial leadership and support across all territories.In his latest role, Manuel was Deputy Chief Financial Officer and EVP and Head of Global Mergers and Acquisitions, which he will continue to lead along with his CFO responsibilities.Manuel joined Penguin Random House in 2015, and since then he has been instrumental in driving investments in both publishing houses and intellectual property assets around the world, partnering with owners and entrepreneurs using a variety of financial approaches to get the best deal outcomes for all stakeholders. Together with his team, he will work to expand on strategic and innovative ways to partner with publishing entrepreneurs to align our long-term interests with theirs during the mergers and acquisitions process.Fluent in several languages, Manuel worked in three investments banks across North America, Latin America, and Europe, providing M&A, strategy, and restructuring services in a variety of sectors. He started his career at IBM in its Global Technology Services division.Manuel holds a JD in law and business administration from the Carlos University and a Master in Advanced Finance from IE Business School, both located in Madrid. He also has a Master of Science in Business Analytics from NYU, Stern School of Business.
