One of the UK\'s leading academics at the intersection of genomics, AI, and global health equity.As Senior Lecturer in Genomics, AI, and Data Science, I lead the MSc AI & Digital Health programme at the University of Westminster — one of the first postgraduate programmes in the UK to integrate agentic AI with clinical and genomic applications.My research focuses on genomic equity: addressing the profound under-representation of non-European populations in genomic databases. I lead the Peruvian Genome Project, sequencing Andean and Indigenous genomes to expand global reference datasets, and am developing HEIM (Health Equity Informative Markers) — a novel framework to benchmark representation in AI and genomic models.Key highlights:• Led the UK\'s first Agentic Genomics hackathon (DNA Day 2025): 102 registered participants, 12 pull requests to ClawBio, 753+ GitHub stars• Organised the largest agentic genomics workshop globally: 754 registered researchers across dozens of countries• Supervisor of postgraduate and doctoral researchers in AI, genomics, and precision medicine• Active collaborator with international institutions across Peru, Spain, and the UK• 80+ peer-reviewed publications in genomics, pharmacogenomics, and bioinformaticsI teach with the conviction that the next generation of genomic scientists must be equipped not only with technical skills, but with a global perspective on equity, reproducibility, and open science.

I work at the intersection of genomics, artificial intelligence, and global health equity — building the tools, frameworks, and communities needed to make genomic medicine work for everyone, not just those of European ancestry.As Senior Lecturer in Genomics, AI, and Data Science at the University of Westminster, I lead internationally recognised research on under-represented populations, including the Peruvian Genome Project — one of the first large-scale efforts to sequence Andean and Indigenous genomes. I am also developing HEIM (Health Equity Informative Markers), a novel framework for benchmarking representation in genomic datasets and AI models.I am the founder of ClawBio, the world\'s first bioinformatics-native agentic AI platform. ClawBio enables AI agents to execute reproducible genomic analyses — from pharmacogenomics to equity scoring — without sending sensitive data to the cloud.
