ABOUT MANUELA PAVAN

Since the end of 2023, I have been working at Fi Group Italy as a Senior Grant Manager, where I lead the Grant Department. My role sits at the intersection of innovation, strategy, and public funding, with a strong focus on assessing the quality and potential of project proposals for national and regional funding opportunities.On a daily basis, I support companies in translating innovative ideas into structured, competitive projects, helping them navigate complex funding frameworks while maximizing impact and success. As a certified Innovation Manager I approach each project with a strategic mindset, aligning technological innovation with business objectives and public incentives.I am particularly motivated by the challenge of turning vision into opportunity, empowering organizations to grow and innovate through well-designed, high‑value projects.Before 2023 I spent 12 years in IGC SRL an advisory company based in Bruxelles (BE) and Torino (IT) where I was involved in strategy, reorganization, risk analysis, due diligence. I matured my specific expertise in financial engineering by developing financial plans for supporting innovative solutions along their business lifecycle. Thanks to a network of entrepreneurs, university R&D centres, investors, corporations, and advisors I help dynamic innovators SMEs and start-ups to become more competitive and successful at international level.Specialities: Specializes in finding business evaluation and planning, target selection, and market analysis in innovative solutions for the environment. For grants and private fund submission of applications for funding at the local, national and European levels. Project management: technical and financial reporting of international project funded. Experienced in the evaluation of project ideas for calls research/match. Before I spent around 5 years in marketing activities developing communication and policies for promoting Piedmont Region. In particular, I was involved in market growth for high-quality and innovative food SMEs in EU and Worldwide. Currently, 25 SMEs of those coached are successfully growing especially in the Asian and Russian markets.
