ABOUT MANUEL CABACUNGAN

I have made many independent videogames as a freelance game developer in the Unreal Engine and Unity 3D game engines. I love to learn new things, especially in the XR/VR space. My ideal position would have room for growth in XR/VR development, and a team that values feedback, hard work, and new ideas. See my portfolio site for my recent projects: mannyvr.com Relevant Experience: • Developed 2D, 3D, and Virtual Reality titles using Unity, C#, Unreal, and Unreal Blueprints. • Developed and released on Valve’s Steam platform, 3D desktop and VR titles made with the Unreal Engine and Unreal Blueprints. • Worked within team environments to accomplish design and development goals • Consulted with Team Leads, Management, and Clients/Stakeholders to design solutions to best fit their needs • Performed research to provide insightful and resourceful solutions to new issues as they arose in the development lifecycle • Participated in many award-winning game jams where the team developed in Unity 3D and the Unreal Engine. Skills: • Demonstrated ability to acquire technical knowledge and skills rapidly, especially in games development • Code core systems and gameplay mechanics in Unity/C# • Experienced with Git/GitHub and Perforce/AWS source control platforms • Experienced publishing multiple game titles on Valve’s Steam platform • Works well with designers and artists while understanding their unique technical and creative requirements
