From deep in Venezuela’s Orinoco Belt to the heart of Texas and Oklahoma’s basins, my career as a Mechanical Engineer has been priceless. I started my journey with a Bachelor\'s in Mechanical Engineering in 2009 and quickly found my calling in the oil & gas industry, kicking off with Schlumberger where high-pressure, high-stakes environments became my training ground.As a Field Engineer, I cut my teeth on complex M/LWD operations, leading teams through Gamma Ray, Resistivity, Nuclear, and Well Placement services. The work was intense, the stakes were high, and I thrived delivering precise, reliable results while optimizing performance and ensuring every job was executed with safety and quality at the core.Directional Drilling felt like a natural evolution blending my technical roots with a drive to continuously improve systems and workflows. Even during the 2016 market downturn, when I stepped outside the industry, I carried those same standards of excellence into roles like Maintenance Technician at Amazon, sharpening my problem-solving mindset and mechanical know-how in a new context.Returning to SLB in 2021 as a General Field Specialist DX, I’ve been back at the frontier this time across the Permian and Anadarko Basins bringing a mix of hands-on expertise, calm under pressure, and a commitment to customer success that’s been my trademark since the very beginning.What sets me apart? A deep technical foundation, a proven ability to lead under pressure, and a relentless drive to make drilling operations smarter, safer, and more efficient without ever losing sight of the people and purpose behind the work.
