I am a highly motivated, bilingual (English and Spanish) seasoned executive with relevant supply chain experience in global companies with more than $3.7 billion in revenues. Among other achievements, the initiatives that I have pursued have generated savings of approximately 5% YOY of the company’s spend. During the past years, I have acquired substantial experience in the retail and industrial markets pertaining to areas such as strategic sourcing, production scheduling, demand and inventory management, warehousing and distribution as well as international trade compliance. My professional background encompasses a full range of supply chain functions globally, such as: Strategic Sourcing for direct and indirect materials with a spend of more than $750 million. Production Scheduling for more than part numbers with MRP and APS. Demand management for more than part numbers. Inventory management of RM, WIP and FG for more than $30 million. Distribution network design and management for more than points of sale. Design and implement a Transportation Management System. Reinforce and secure the supply chain in the NAFTA region through BASC and CTPAT government programs. Custom broker management ensuring proper harmonized code application and international regulation compliance. I concluded an MBA program at the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Direccion de Empresa (IPADE), in Monterrey, Mexico, which the financial times ranked as the best business school in Latin America and one of the top ten in the world. In addition, I have completed executive education coursework on Supply Chain in Stanford University and MIT.
