Key Responsibilities:•Lead product development from initial design to full-scale production and commercialization, including plant trials, new alloy development, and process changes to meet customer specifications.•Assess raw materials for impact on operations and quality; develop and review specifications.•Plan and execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, and efficiency.•Develop research proposals for national and international grants.•Support health, safety, and environmental assessments for raw materials and manufacturing processes.•Stay informed on standards, regulatory requirements, process technologies, and advancements in materials and product quality.•Collaborate with production and quality teams to trace non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.Achievements:•Secured funding of $733,660.27 from Innovate UK for CLIMATES: Supply Chain Innovations for Rare Earths, Strand 2.•Led and produced NdPr metals through energy efficient electrolysis cell outside China.•Led and produced Sm metal for the first time at LCM.
