Credit risk analytics leader with extensive experience across US and India lending markets, specializing in building scalable, regulation-ready risk frameworks that balance growth, portfolio quality, and unit economics.Currently an Assistant Vice President at bluCognition, leading the Credit Risk Analytics function for a US-based fintech client from India. I oversee development and execution of data-driven lending strategies supporting end-to-end credit lifecycle journey including acquisition, customer management, portfolio monitoring, etc. In parallel, I lead the development and deployment of bluSense, a bank-statement–based credit score, enabling alternative-data–driven underwriting for thin-file and underserved segments.Previously, I have worked with American Express, Bank of America, and ICICI Bank, delivering end-to-end risk and analytics solutions across both mature (US) and emerging (India) credit markets. My work spans income and revenue estimation, industry mapping for commercial borrowers, customer risk categorization, credit decisioning, and collateral/home value frameworks.Notably, the Customer Risk Categorization framework I developed at ICICI Bank was adopted as the official internal policy and submitted to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)—a strong example of translating analytics into regulatory-compliant, enterprise-scale risk governance.I hold a B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering from NIT Trichy and an MBA in Marketing & Strategy from FMS Delhi. I bring a strong sense of end-to-end ownership, combining first-principles thinking with pragmatic execution to help fintechs and lenders scale responsibly while protecting downside risk.Beyond my professional role, I served as President of the Scholastic Council at FMS Delhi, leading international academic partnerships and serving on the Executive Board, contributing to institutional policy and governance.I enjoy working closely with founders, CROs, and senior leadership teams to solve complex risk, growth, and data challenges in fast-paced fintech environments.
