About Manu Chaudhary

I am Manu Chaudhary from Dausa, Rajasthan. I am currently pursuing Post Graduate Program in Management (MBA) 2024-26 from IIM Bangalore. I am excited to explore the networking opportunities with alumni community of IIM Bangalore and the vibrant industry in Bangalore city. I look forward to being counted among the distinguished IIM Bangalore alumni who have upheld the institution\'s prestigious name. I graduated from IIT Gandhinagar with a B.Tech. in civil engineering. I authored a book titled “The 11th Dimension,” featuring stories of 10 IIT alumni. I was the first student at IIT Gandhinagar to author a book during my BTech. The book was launched by Prof Sudhir Jain (then Director IIT-GN and now VC BHU) and Mr. Jayen Mehta (then National Marketing Head and now Managing Director GCMMF(Amul)). I was actively involved in extracurricular activities, co-founding the Shastrarth Socratic Society, convening the annual inter-college festival “Blithchron,” and volunteering at Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan (Govt. of India Initiative). After graduation, I joined GCMMF (Amul) as the first non-MBA employee in the sales and marketing team. One of my major responsibilities included being the Officer-In-Charge of HoReCa (Hotel Restaurant and Caterers) i.e. Institutional sales of Rajasthan. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we designed \"Amul Simple Homemade Recipes,\" a digital cooking show that featured 1500 chefs from over 40 countries including the President of the World Chef Association, Thomas Gugler and five other Michelin chefs. As Co-Ordinator of the show, my primary responsibilities included reaching out to chef community and create new show formats to create a digital community of chefs. The show became the most-watched digital cooking show on Facebook with 8 shows/day garnering approx. 2.5 million views/day. Over the years, I’ve developed many hobbies, including cooking, outdoor sports, and listening to podcasts. My interest in cooking is especially in categories like layered delicacies, gravies, contrasting plates, and roasted dishes. I find cooking to be meditative and relaxing, to see various ingredients interacting with each other to create new flavors is sheer joy. Seeing the delightful faces of my friends & family when they taste my recipes is just an added bonus. Podcasts have become my recent passion, particularly those covering macroeconomics, politics, sociology, and international relations. I’ve played Football at the U-19 state level and was part of the IIT Gandhinagar Cricket team. Currently, I am pursuing my first favorite outdoor sport i.e. badminton.
