As an R&D Materials Scientist at Aerogel Core Ltd, I specialize in advancing novel aerogel- and graphene-based materials and metamaterials to enhance performance across a range of high-impact applications. My expertise covers the full development cycle, from fundamental research and discovery to process scale-up, advanced characterization, and ensuring scalable, high-quality manufacturing. I contribute to the UKRI ICURe project (commercializing innovative aerogel technologies) and the EU Repoxyble project (enabling sustainable and recyclable epoxy systems). My work also extends to the design, fabrication, and 3D printing of aerogel and graphene-based metamaterials for advanced acoustic and electromagnetic shielding. Through innovation and rigorous problem-solving, I am dedicated to pushing the boundaries of aerogel technology for diverse and emerging markets.
