I had no finance background, no technical background, and no idea what a P&L was.Since then I\'ve led finance for a $200M business, taken ownership of $1B+ in inventory flow at Amazon\'s satellite manufacturing division, and driven the implementation of a Transportation Management System tied to $50M+ in annual freight. Today I\'m a Sr. TPM at Amazon\'s satellite manufacturing division, optimizing operations across 3 warehousing sites and 500+ associates — defining KPIs, building products, and driving continuous improvement projects designed to save millions in labour costs.That path taught me something I wish someone had told me earlier: the people who progress fastest aren\'t always doing the most work.
