Hi, my name is Mantake. It\'s pronounced MUN (Like Sun)- TAKE. Master of Applied Science in Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology. From India, living in Waterloo, with a passion for water and soil conservation. Worked with India\'s largest Zinc & Lead producer, Hindustan Zinc Limited as a Project Civil engineer for 2+ years on the conceptualization and execution of various Greenfield and Brownfield projects. Worked as a research assistant with Dr. Paul VanGeel, Carleton University, and Dr. Grant Carey, Porewater Solutions, on the development of a novel reactive transport model capable of predicting the behavior of PFASs in a CAC barrier. Currently working as a quantitative hydrogeologist/groundwater modeler with GHD Ltd. In my free time, you can find me either working out or skating or hiking or in the pool. Extensive modeling experience and proficiency in the use of commercial numerical groundwater modeling codes. Good understanding of numerical methods including finite difference, finite element, and control volume approaches. Proficient in developing new flow and transport models using python and Fortran programming. Good command of visualization software such as GIS, CAD, etc.
