ABOUT MANSOOR ADIL
I am a Ph.D. student and Research Assistant at the Resilient Infrastructure and Disaster Response (RIDER) Center with a background in civil engineering (B.Sc.) and Remote Sensing & GIS (M.Sc.). My work bridges engineering, geoinformatics, and sustainability science to address climate-related hazards. My research focuses on leveraging geospatial technologies, Web-GIS platforms, and interactive dashboards to strengthen disaster preparedness and response. By integrating Python and JavaScript-based geospatial modeling with machine learning and spatial analytics, I develop predictive models, spatial risk maps, and visualization frameworks that help stakeholders monitor vulnerabilities and design effective resilience strategies.Looking ahead, I aim to advance the design of adaptive, sustainable, and equitable infrastructure systems. I am particularly motivated to connect science with policy and practice by creating user-centered, data-driven tools that empower communities and decision-makers to mitigate risks and respond proactively to climate extremes.
