Conducting research and analysis of Accounting policies as per US GAAP and STAT policies for financial reporting. Co-leading the implementation of new LDTI guidance and analysing related party transactions •Assist in preparing Financial Statements and Notes to Financial Statements as per accounting standards for quarterly and annual SEC reporting (10Q and 10K like statements) •Preparing policy memos for recent accounting updates and guideline changes to support organization •Analysing various investment options for the organization as per accounting treatments and standards and communicating with External auditors regarding the decisions and guidelines. •Assisting in Merger and Acquisition transaction regarding PGAAP policies as well any reinsurance deals of the organization •Utilizing various tools such as Workiva, Intelligize, NAIC portal, DART (Deloitte) for day to day work. •Active member of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Council to support organization\'s culture of diverse and inclusive workforce and leading projects like celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander Month
