ICs are future but I wanna dabble in business & technology.Hey, I am Mansi, an engineering graduate from NSUT East Campus working as an Analyst in Security field. As far as my future goals are involved, I want to be a part of something significant, something life changing for a lot of people, something impactful. When people ask me where do I see myself 5 years down the lane, I see myself leading a project that is contributing significantly to the betterment of society, and many projects already in my kitty to prove the impact that I made. During my graduation, I realized that my interest lies somewhere in the intersection of technology and business driven consultancy, the question that arose was to choose the sector where I should work, being a second year engineering student with the drawback of no industry experience the most suitable sector that aligned with my then skills was the booming EdTech sector, which led me to work with the startup named Ensvee and then to explore it further, I did a 3-month stint in the strategy team with the unicorn of the EdTech sector - PhysicsWallah. From there I decided to move towards knowing more about the hot topic in IT industry i.e. Cybersecurity so started my journey with the ECM team at HCLTech. I’m currently performing RCA on endpoints & maintaining industry standards of compliance.    RCA on Endpoints? I want to do RCA of business cases, what is even an endpoint? That was the first thought that came when I got to know about my role. I am working with the Endpoint Compliance team.AWS/Azure for Cloud. Endpoint Compliance is that for Security.My wish to get the taste of tech and non tech in the same job role got fulfilled by it. To be specific about the work- Reporting and monitoring metrics via data analysis, coordinating with the EDR team, providing insights to the ground ops team for improvement & reporting it to the BigFix automation team for successful automation of monthly patches- Carrying out detailed root-cause analyses of patch failures and implementing solutions in concerned areas- Tracked the non compliance status and performed the root cause analysis for the machines in HCL domain- Finding the root cause behind automation failures from the backend on specific machines- Found the reason behind patch failure in machines and contributed to the successful automation.
