ABOUT MANSHI A.

My career in tech marketing started where most do, with wedding planning. An international event landed at my university, and by some fluke I ended up on the organizing committee. Planning was total chaos. Then lights up, emcee on stage, audience smiling, and someone said, “that looked effortless.” That’s when I found my calling: turning chaos into something simple. One thing led to another and soon I was planning events, keeping situations and people calm in stressful moments. And I loved it.Then my move to Canada happened (Why? Another story for another time). The event industry here wasn\'t exactly inspiring (the pay, less so). So, when my team needed someone to \"quickly learn marketing\" I jumped. That’s when I discovered my knack for picking things up fast, and on my own.Over time, these two skills (and great mentors) became the backbone of my career. I pivoted to marketing full time, grew from a specialist to Head of Marketing at Aptum (through 3 promotions in 6 years), and touched everything: automation, ops, demand gen, brand, community, events. And quickly learned that while flashy strategies look nice on slides, they quickly fall apart in real life. Successful marketing tactics must work in the messy everyday world. That\'s the principle I\'ve built my career on. I have delivered results that I am proud of:$4M ARR on a $1M budget, two rebrands, an org-wide OKR rollout, and an Ambassador programs that turn employees and customers into advocates (and cut content spend to zero). But my proudest achievement is the trust I\'ve built. I back my team, I take feedback as much as I give it, and I keep peers and execs focused on clarity and solutions instead of problems. That has earned me both respect and lifelong relationships.I grew up hearing:\"You rise faster on the shoulders of people, not their backs.\" So for me success isn\'t a solo sport, but growing together. Work takes too much of life to suck, so I work hard to make it a place people want to be. And if my story sounds like a series of happy accidents, that\'s only because all successful events (and great marketing strategies) always \'look\' effortless. If you share my philosophy (or want to debate them over coffee/cocktails), let\'s talk.
