About Manpreet Singh
I’m Manpreet Singh, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (August 2023 – March 2027). I graduated from Montgomery Guru Nanak Public School, Jalandhar, in April 2023 with a 95.4% overall score, scoring 100 in Chemistry and Informatics Practices. In college, I have secured an SGPA of 10 in both Semester 1 and Semester 3. My skills include MERN stack development, Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), and MLOps. I am actively involved in research in Bio-ML. I won the ACM Hackathon Hacklipse 2024 under the Open Innovation track. Currently, I’m focused on high-performance deep learning building LLMs and multimodal VLMs from scratch, optimizing protein models using custom CUDA/Triton kernels, and accelerating scientific inference. I’m also experimenting with fine-tuning methods like LoRA, QLoRA, DPO, and reinforcement tuning to align models with complex biomedical and physics-based tasks.
