With extensive experience in the cruise industry, have spent over 10 years leading fleet management and marine operations for the Royal Caribbean Group at our Miami headquarters. My expertise encompasses global marine operations, overseeing day-to-day deployment and operations for both Celebrity Cruises and SILVERSEA fleets, worldwide.Leadership, Command ability, strong emergency management skillset, solution-oriented thinking, team building, and hospitality management skills are some of the strong areas of expertise. Specialized experience include fleet safety and compliance, newbuild, guests and crew communication, ship\'s handling, port vetting, and port infrastructure expertise. Combines his extensive shoreside experience with a total of 23 years at sea, including 9 years as a Captain at Celebrity Cruises, have played a pivotal role in the newbuilding and launch of 15 cruise ships, in both shipboard and shoreside capacity. Proficient in ship\'s handling and all aspects of shipboard safety, fleet management and deep maritime knowledge. Instrumental in establishing the safety organization for the Royal Caribbean Group and have actively supported cruise port development across various regions, including Alaska, the Caribbean, the USA, Northern Europe, and the Mediterranean.
