I firmly believe that governments, businesses and the civil society can work together to tackle some of the most pressing challenges of our times. I come with over 10 years of experience in the non-profit education space in India, and I have led initiatives across strategy, partnerships and operations for the organisation I worked with. As the non-profit organizations I worked with specialized in Public Private Partnership projects, I come with a credible understanding of the nuances involved in working with regulatory bodies and governments. I am choosing to specialize in Public Policy and Business Administration as I aspire to work at the intersection of policy, technology, and profits, and lead the design and implementation of strategies and initiatives that can help both businesses and governments leverage each other’s strengths. My interest in venture capital, impact investing and the use of technology for social impact is fueled by my understanding that the nature and purpose of capital has to change if we want to see authentic and long-lasting impact for marginalized communities, and technology will play a pivotal role in scaling the impact. I am a strong advocate of the need for businesses and technology to focus on both financial and social returns. I strive to embrace integrity, empathy and authenticity in everything I do. I am also an avid cinephile and love watching and talking about movies. A PADI certified scuba-diver, I hope I can dive more frequently in the beautiful waters in/around SE Asia in the time to come.
