Initiative to Conserve Animals & Nature Society or ICAN in short, is a non-profit organization working for the cause of environment conservation. ICAN is a group of passionate and enthusiastic individuals with diverse background who have joined hands to synergize their expertise from various fields.We believe and practice the philosophy of “Think Global, Act Local” as grass root work at local level is the best way to bring out change in degraded environmental status. We understand that this task is not an individual’s responsibility and requires collective participation.Our primary objective is to create awareness amongst the local community and gather their support in the projects we pursue. Subsequently we work alongside the locals so they not only witness the actual benefits but gradually become a part of the project thereby increasing the sustainability of such ventures.
