About Manoj Deshpande
I’m a researcher, designer, and creative technologist with 7+ years of experience using mixed-methods research to make technological systems, especially generative AI, more intuitive, adaptive, and human-centered. Currently, I’m a Quantitative UX Researcher in the Trust & Security organization, part of the Design & Customer Experience (DCE) team at JPMC. My work focuses on mapping critical user journeys to a data dashboard and supporting other cross-functional quantitative research initiatives within DCE.🧠 Before joining JPMC, I was a Research Scientist at Georgia Tech’s Expressive Machinery Lab, where I led projects on co-creative AI, like designing generative AI chatbots for creative coding education and developing AI agents for collaborative dance and drawing. My work focused on advancing AI applications to enhance human creativity and foster meaningful collaborative interaction. I thrive in “zero-to-one” spaces, turning abstract, high-ambiguity problems into measurable outcomes. I’m especially passionate about making AI systems more socially intelligent, improvisational, and inclusive. Whether it’s financial technology or creative AI, I aim to embed intent-awareness and adaptive behavior into every system I work with.🤝 Always open to collaborations that push boundaries in human-AI interaction, UX strategy, and applied research.
