About Manoj Bohra

I serve as Chief Data and AI Officer at State Street, where I lead the firm’s global strategy for data, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics. My focus is on building the enterprise platforms and capabilities that enable trusted, scalable AI and data-driven decision making across the organization. Over the past two decades, I have worked at the intersection of data, AI, and large-scale technology transformation within highly regulated industries. My work has centered on building modern data platforms, operationalizing machine learning at scale, and translating advanced analytics into real business outcomes. Prior to joining State Street, I was a Managing Director at Google Cloud, where I worked with C-suite leaders across major financial institutions on large-scale data modernization and AI initiatives. My work included helping organizations design cloud-native data platforms, operationalize machine learning through enterprise MLOps frameworks, and establish governance models for responsible AI. Earlier in my career, I spent over two decades at Bank of America, where I held several senior leadership roles focused on enterprise data platforms, AI/ML infrastructure, and cloud transformation. During that time, I helped architect and scale one of the industry’s largest AI and data science platforms and led global teams responsible for critical data and analytics capabilities. I’m passionate about building organizations and platforms that make AI practical, trusted, and scalable in large enterprises. I hold a Master of Science in Technology Management from Columbia University, an MBA in Finance from the University of Mumbai, and a Bachelor of Science from Jodhpur University. Outside of work, I enjoy mentoring and have spent more than a decade coaching youth robotics programs.
