About Manohar T.
My journey through academia and now the professional world has been rollercoaster certainly. In undergrad I came into Rutgers New Brunswick just like many students dreaming of becoming an MD to save lives or push the boundaries of medicine. That changed when I was introduced to applied discipline of Food Science from a family friend. I immediately dropped medicine and saw the potential along with the creativity I can put my mind towards striving for new innovations to this portion of the chemical manufacturing/CPG industry. Lets fast forwards to 2022, I was a contractor as a Beverage Applications Technician and saw an opening for innovating Fragrance Delivery Systems and I took the leap of faith and do not look back at all. Becoming integrated in my current role it unlock a hidden passion of mine and that\'s fragrance. So be it from consumer to fine fragrance to everything in between. I\'ve always had a keen sense of smell and in my own time have been collecting numerous fragrances around the world and have toured several perfumery factories as well. Through the changes in academia and professional interests I truly believe I\'ve found my niche that stimulates my mind to come into office with a smile doing what I love. In all I\'m striving to become a perfumer and I will jump through every hoop and obstacle in my path to say that I gave my passion a fair chance and didn\'t feel succumbed to fear of rejection and the unknown. My new goal in my career is to continue to learn under my leadership to innovate within the realm of fragrances and strive for one day to take a shot at becoming a perfumery trainee.
