As a Software Developer at Barclays, I work across both backend and frontend systems to support the credit card platform. On the backend, I develop Spring Boot microservices with Kafka for real-time messaging and data streaming, and implement Kafka producers, consumers, and streams using Kafka Connect. I design and optimize Experience APIs to streamline data flow and reduce redundancy. On the frontend, I actively contribute to React-based applications, and have led the modernization of the platform using Webpack Module Federation to enable scalable micro-frontend integration. I also build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Chef, support containerization with Docker. My work also includes remediating Veracode vulnerabilities to enhance security across services.
