I am involved in all aspects of the daily operations, as well as building manegment. always pushing the limit, working with architects and engineers to design the best possible building to accommodate our day to day operations as well as our future grown,currently acting as the General Contractor for our new building of sf addition project, doubling the warehouse refrigerated space to be able to accommodate the loading and shipping a fleet of 400 trucks daily started to work at early age of 14 years old, as a heavy equipment operator while helping on my parents farm, a later date I worked in Switzerland for 6 years where I master the art of making the famous Gruyere cheese in the Jura Mountains emigrated to the US in 1986 did 2 years of cross county driving a 18 wheeler, then a few years in general construction then got into the produce industry in 1989. I am a enginer by experience, very restcrict on the recycling program,go green is always in my mind, installing a green roof, PV generation system, EMS, WMS, Onion peeling room air filtration system and recycling of the refrigerated air reducing the organic waste bill by 50% by squeezing the water out of it before hauling away and ultimately reducing to zero organic into the landfill program. The ultimate challenge was the need for a WMS that could apply and work with out very demanding clientele, he took Baldor years to choose a WMS implementing company, after a while we choose one claiming to be the top of the line with every mechanism and every aspect of the software ready for our application, a few years later we realized that was not the case, a company like Baldor, its open 24x7, receiving, picking, and processing and entering orders all at the same time, with customers calling at 1 am to get their order delivered by 6 am, and some of the items their ordered are still coming from the airport at that time it was a challenge.
