Responsible for Executing Mechanical Engineering solutions for Gas Panel Modules with Primary focus on Design and development of 3D models, Weldment’s creation, Polyline Routings, Maintain Bill of Materials, Create/Modify Schematics of Gas Panel modules to support the programs.Collaborate with Design Engineering Authority, Product Line Management (PLM), System Engineer and Project Manager (PM) for the development of Gas Panel Modules through Product Lifecycle (PLC) Program and Continuous Improvement Programs (CIPs).Perform Design for Excellence (DFx) to ensure design standards are met and to improve the manufacturability, assembly, and cost of the Product.Create Manufacturing strategies with respect to Integrate to Order (ITO) and further analyse Make v/s Buy for the new Products developed to maintain the supply chain.Create and manage multiple system level configurations in Product Lifecycle Management tools (Teamcenter (TcE), Unigraphics (UG Nx) & AutoCAD), for creation of Master Model Layout.Perform Virtual Build to analyse Interference issues within assemblies, Sequence of Events (SoE), Poke Yoke, Missing parts in assembly within Virtual space.Creation of Operational Method sheets (OMSs), Refurb/Retrofit and Test procedures, to aid technicians in Build, Integration and Test.Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) for newly designed products and provide System BOM’s for Non-Standard Requests through APPLIED’s proprietary product lifecycle management process.Provide Long term corrective action (LTCA) to all the Supplier and Virtual Analysis issues by Implementing through Change Management process.Release of Master Bill of Materials to have all the Options / Configurations in a structure Tree through Engineering Change Management process.
