ABOUT MANJULSHREE VAISHNAV
I worked as an R&D Officer in a genome editing lab, carry out a CRISPR-Cas9 program for Agrobacterium-mediated tomato transformation. I perform PCR-based assays, plasmid/genomic DNA isolation, vector digestion, and oversee sterile tissue culture, explant regeneration, and Agrobacterium transformation steps. I manage growth-room maintenance of edited lines, track phenotypic outcomes, troubleshoot transformation efficiency, and uphold rigorous biosafety and documentation standards across molecular, microbial, and plant biotechnology operations.Additionally, my review-based M.Sc. thesis on Commiphora wightii (guggul) integrated taxonomy, ecology, phytochemistry, medicinal value, and conservation challenges, demonstrating strong capabilities in scientific literature analysis, critical evaluation, and multidisciplinary synthesis.
