Managed the Asset Environment Team in successfully securing the Air and Effluent Waste Discharge Authorization (WDA) Permits for air and effluent discharges. These are the key regulatory approvals required to run the LNG Plant in British Columbia.• Engaged with multiple regulatory bodies and Kitimat Air Shed Group throughout the WDA application process, during Supplemental Information Request and draft permit approvals.• Consulted with First Nations on the WDA, Air Monitoring Program, Environmental Management Plans for the Operate phase, provided feedback on their information request to ensure there are no business interruptions for commission and start-up phase.• Developed, implemented, and revised 14 environmental management plans, alongside air and effluent monitoring programs and procedures.• Played a crucial role in execution assurance and handover from project to asset during construction, commissioning and start-up phases.• Managed environmental data in external and internal reporting for WDA permits, CEPA E2 Regulation, Facility Permit requirements, and NPRI.• Evaluated the Environmental Emergencies (E2) regulations under the CEPA to identify substances that would be subjected to E2, coordinated the development of Substance Mapping Report and E2 Plans for Environment and Climate Change Canada.• Oversaw the development of Noise Management Program and supported Fugitive Emissions Management Plan development as part of the facility permit requirements.• Developed extensive knowledge of Canadian and British Columbia Environmental Regulatory requirements related to LNG project.
