In his current role as Director, Dr. Randhawa oversees a wide range of internal and external Health Services Research & Evaluation projects across the MemorialCare Medical Foundation. Responsibilities include:• Quality Improvement: Leads the evaluation of current clinical and non-clinical programs using a variety of methodologies, including ROI analysis, risk assessment analysis, pre-post utilization analysis, pre-post cost analysis, pre-post clinical outcomes analysis, PMPM sensitivity analysis, pre-post quality measure analysis, and time series analysis. This work ensures the continuous improvement of our healthcare services and patient outcomes.• Clinical Information Systems: Has developed evidence-based risk stratification methodologies and policies and procedures for new programs. This includes creating algorithms for population health risk stratification, care management risk stratification, and identifying members in need of palliative care services. These algorithms have been integrated into the hospital system’s clinical information systems to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.• Leadership: Works collaboratively with clinicians, data scientists, and other stakeholders to implement and evaluate these initiatives. This leadership ensures that the organization’s healthcare services are data-driven, patient-centered, and aligned with organizational goals.
