Strong background in product solutioning, ranging from top-level planning to strategy to execution to delivery (idea to sellable product)- in different domains and technologies. Good experience in leading large teams and setting/influencing organizational tech vision and strategy for creating business impact. Proven track record of building highly efficient ground-up products working with senior executives and customers across regions.Currently Heading VOD X-Ray in Prime Video X-Ray, responsible for creating (1) informative experience through high accurate X-Ray metadata to answer some of the curious questions of the customer (ex: “Who is the actor?”) and (2) interactive experience by enabling Shop the scene and share the video clip in social media. The charter includes applied science, engineering, quality assurance, program management and operations teams. We are solving exciting problems in, person-recognition, eventful video interval detection, etc, using computer vision / machine learning (CV/ML). Previously, Senior Expert Manager for Robert Bosch corporate research engineering group. I was responsible for defining and executing the technology solution to launch an internal product based on CV/ML, which supports the initiatives on autonomous vehicle. Prior to this as Tech Manager with NXP/Philips multimedia research and development, team. I was responsible for defining and delivering solutions (concept to product) on media analysis, encoding and compressed domain video edit solutions for mobile phones. In NXP/Philips, I created several IPs (Intellectual Property)- which includes few patents and trade secrets. On a personal level, I love to solve problems with higher uncertainty (especially in computer vision and machine learning as solution space).
