As a Software Engineer at CPI, I am contributing to the development of innovative healthcare technology solutions, with a focus on the 5G Test Bed project and the NetStick initiative. In this role, I work extensively with advanced technologies, including AWS IoT.NET MAUI, and embedded systems, to create scalable, cross-platform applications and cloud-based solutions that drive real-time data collection and processing for healthcare devices.Key Responsibilities & Skills:Cross-Platform Development: Designing and building multi-platform applications (web, mobile, and desktop) using.NET MAUI, C# and Next.js, ensuring scalability and responsiveness.Cloud Integration: Developing cloud-based IoT solutions using AWS IoT Core, Lambda functions, API Gateway, and DynamoDB to enable real-time sensor data collection, processing, and storage.Embedded Systems: Leading the NetStick project, where I work with ESP32-S3 boards to capture patient sample images using a camera, and seamlessly send the data to AWS S3 for cloud-based processing and analysis.Machine Learning: Developing a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model to detect infections from patient sample images, applying AI techniques to advance healthcare diagnostics.Full Software Development Lifecycle: Engaging in end-to-end software development, from requirements gathering and system design to coding, testing, and deployment, ensuring adherence to healthcare industry standards.Real-Time Data Processing: Integrating AWS IoT with sensors to facilitate real-time data collection and processing, enhancing the effectiveness of healthcare IoT devices.This placement has given me the opportunity to deepen my technical expertise in areas such as embedded systems, cloud computing, and machine learning, while allowing me to contribute to the development of impactful healthcare technologies that utilize IoT and 5G.
