Ensuring safety and security of customers, customer’s belongings, employees and hotel property. • Ensuring the maintenance of the fire safety system in the Hotel through regular inspection and check-up.• Training all the employees in the Fire Safety and ensuring a proper system for the issue and deposit of office keys. • Conducting regular drills for handling of emergency situation and briefing security personnel on daily basis and also paying surprise visit for ensuring they are vigil.• Liaising with outside agencies for security and administration related issues like Police and Fire department.• Ensuring that no item should leave the hotel without a gate pass. Similarly, no item should enter the hotel premises without being tracked/ recorded.• Ensuring that the entry and exit of all visitors through the employee entrance is recorded and that each visitor is issued a valid identity card.• Formulating Policies, Emergency Procedures, Crisis Management Manual, Loss Prevention Manual and all the Standard Operating Procedures for Security Department.• Implementing policies, procedures and emergency procedures along with liaising with Police representatives.• Handling Security arrangements of Hotel, VVIP guests and also major functions along with interacting with guest and resolving problems including theft investigations.• Handling crisis situation in the hotel premises along with providing assistance to hotel staff in case of any emergency during office hours.• Maintaining vendor management, deal, negotiate, and raise purchase order, in coordination with purchase department.• Maintaining regular follow up for the AMC’s with vendors,(Contract Security, CCTV, Stationary, Wireless Sets, and Security Devices).• Keeping the management informed at all times on matters pertaining to security.• Ensuring that all hotel employees abide by the established house rules and regulations along with providing Fire Fighting Training to Security and other Hotel staffs
