Perform database design by analyzing business requirements. Meet with business experts to analyze and document requirements from a database perspective. Assist database administrators (DBA) in defining architectural standards for database applications. Review applications and database design for compliance with these standards. Assist in troubleshooting and resolution of database issues. Assist in the application development, debugging, configuration and optimization from a databaseperspective. At least 6+ years’ experience in relational database development or administration in a commercialenterprise setting. Extensive knowledge of TSQL development experience (stored procedures, indexing andoptimization). Work as part of a development team and establish close working relationships with stake holders,quality assurance, architects, as well as management. SQL experience in creating database designs, writing stored procedures, complicated queries andperformance tuning. Experience in troubleshooting SQL issues by using SQL Tools, interpret execution plans to fix longrunning queries, Trace, statistics, index tuning wizard. Experience in using Performance Monitor, SQL and optimizing the queries and removing deadlocks.
