I’m a certified Project Manager and engineer with over 29 years of experience driving large-scale capital investment projects, operations, and people management across the Chemicals, Food, and Solar manufacturing industries. My career has been shaped by a passion for building world-class facilities, optimizing processes, and developing high-performing teams that deliver measurable business impact.Over the years, I’ve successfully managed major projects worth more than ₹25 billion across India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh — including both greenfield and brownfield facilities. My experience spans every phase of the project lifecycle: from concept and master planning to design, execution, commissioning, and handover. I’ve led the development of CAPEX budgets, investment proposals, project charters, and comprehensive project management plans covering scope, cost, schedule, risk, procurement, communication, safety, and quality.I’m particularly proud of introducing AI-based auto-reporting in Microsoft Project, which transformed real-time project tracking and reporting efficiency. My technical foundation includes Factory Master Planning, Value Stream Mapping, Value Engineering, Hygienic Design, GMP, Safety by Design, Mass Balance, and Equipment Sizing.During my tenure with Nestlé, I had the privilege of representing the South Asia region in their global Construction Expert Network, collaborating with international peers to standardize construction excellence and best practices.Key Highlights:Delivered sq. ft. of industrial construction including process, logistics, and commercial facilities with integrated MEP and landscaping.Enhanced OEE of the spinning section’s baling press from 45% to 60% by applying TPM methods—improving performance (80→85%) and availability (70→90%).Boosted spray-dried Horlicks production throughput from 60 to 70 TPD and yield from 80% to 83% through TPM and Lean initiatives.Drove cost reduction and process capability improvements using Lean Six Sigma tools such as 5S, SPC, FMEA, Kanban, Kaizen, and Gemba.I believe effective project management is not just about timelines and budgets—it’s about creating value, ensuring safety, and delivering sustainable, efficient facilities that empower business growth.
