About Manish Kumar

As a highly skilled and accomplished professional, I have consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to public service i.e government programs, economic diplomacy, skill development, employment programs and environment throughout my career. Currently I am working on International Mobility for agenda of Government of India through NSDCI which is a focal point for Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Skill and Entrepreneurship and Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India. My extensive experience in leadership roles, such as General Manager and Deputy Director, has allowed me to effectively develop and implement strategies, manage budgets, and lead teams towards the successful achievement of their goals. In addition to my operational responsibilities, I have played a crucial role in building partnerships, organizing events, and developing systems and processes related to employment programs and bilateral economic and trade policies focusing on India and countries like Russia, Israel, Ukraine and CIS. Outside of my professional endeavors, I have also consistently demonstrated a dedication to mentorship and community service. Whether through volunteering my time or providing guidance and support to others, I have always been passionate about making a positive impact in my field and beyond.    Well, they say 13 may not be the luckiest number, but as I wrap up my eventful 13-month journey at NSDC, I\'m ready to give my job description a makeover. I had the opportunity to contribute to three important departments at NSDC. First, I led teams and developed Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Government Programs department through a collaborative process. I also implemented reforms to quickly clear pending payments for our training partners. Additionally, I delivered an NSDC certificate in Hindi for the Grameen Udhyami Project, fulfilling the Minister\'s request to empower tribal youth. I was given the critical responsibility of resolving operational issues faced by State Engagement Officers. With determination and efficiency, I resolved 80 percent of these issues within just 45 days. SEOs loved the platform created by collective participation and found their voices heard and their innovative ideas shared across the country. After dismantling the group, I missed my morning 9 AM meetings :) I was given a mandate to streamline the operations and build partnerships at NSDC International to strengthen the supply side of equation. We as a team successfully operationalized the SIIC in Varanasi within three months and established partnerships with recruitment agents to accomplish a mission of ethical international placements. My job was just to believe in my people and lead from the front and sometimes stay back and let the others enjoy the limelight and credit. In March 2023, I was transferred to the National Apprenticeship Team, where I now oversee daily operations and provide unwavering support to ensure the smooth running of the scheme. Despite the chaos, I thrive and remain calm, excelling in challenging situations. It\'s been an honor to serve the nation. During weekends and spare time, I dedicate myself to mentoring and coaching young individuals and organizations, helping them reach their full potential.
