Transformation Program: Transformed Issuing Portfolio by transforming the design of existing Portfolio to strategic API & Microservices Architecture. Continuing the same for legacy green screen. Currently leading engineering deliveries for Barclays Core Issuing Portfolio, covering Corporate, Small Business, and Regulated & Managed programs, with a focus on API/microservices, Java, UI/UX, and design. Team Build & Management: Scaled up a 70+ member offshore engineering hub in India, enabling seamless collaboration across development, testing, and design, significantly improving delivery speed and time-to-market. Baseline architecture landscape and customer journeys for onboarding, servicing, and dispute management—paving the way for automation across the Cards & Payments Issuing portfolio. Delivered large-scale programs involving API/microservices development,like BASEL IV and Visa/MasterCard compliance, BIP, Vulnerabilities Management, ensuring resilient production releases and smooth vendor integrations (TSYS). Championed adoption of GenAI tools (GitLab & GitLab Duo) to modernize legacy applications (e.g.NET Imagestar), enhancing engineering metrics, CI/CD efficiency, and version control maturity. Introduced automation and CI/CD pipeline enhancements: Of API, Microservices consisting of Apps & E2E Testing using Slenium, Cucumber leveraging BDD framework that generated recurring monthly savings of £6k–£7k and created hours of annual delivery capacity (£75k benefit). Portfolio Engineering Delivery: Managing offshore engineering team of 70+ resources with tech spend of £3m.
