With winter approaching, days were getting shorter and school didn’t leave me with much time to ride my bicycle before sunset. As a child who had just got his new bicycle, that was a big turn off. However, riding it after dusk bore the risk of stumbling upon rocks, potholes and more.That is when I decided to build myself a headlight. I took battery case from one of my old toys, coupled it with a reflector bulb set and a switch and secured it on my bicycle. The solution was simple, mundane at best, and the amount of light it produced was debatable, but as an eight year old, it gave me a great sense of joy and pride to have innovatively solved a problem.I love digging into problems and solving them using technology. I believe in myself to create, scale and optimise business portfolios that matter. My recipe to success is focusing on must haves, being open to new ideas and building amazing teams that deliver.In my professional career spanning over a decade, I have had the opportunity of working with various organizations in consulting role across data security and governance, fraud detection and prevention, data science, program management and strategy.
