I am a first generation entrepreneur. At 22, I started my company Espranza Innovations in 2008, right out of Monash Univ, Australia.I envision a future where students all over #India have access to all the best knowledge available in the world. I am leveraging #technology & my global network to learn from the best in the world, adopt the best practices for our context & create a roadmap that will digitise & upgrade our #education infrastructure as a whole. To accomplish this vision, I created iScuela, a holistic learning ecosystem that eliminates learning gaps & focuses on positive behavioural change. iScuela today has reached over 4 Million students in the K-12 segment in schools in rural & semi urban areas of #India. Govt. of Punjab, a province that is of the size of Spain, has adopted iScuela & we are now expanding rapidly to cover all the schools in the entire state. States of Sikkim & Arunachal Pradesh are also adopting our ecosystem.#Innovation for me is not just something that is futuristic or some technological gadget play but is an act of solving today’s problems accepting the constraints & seeing them as opportunities to innovate. For e.g, during the lockdown, we curated digital content that were relayed via 12 educational TV channels, for the National Govt, that enabled us to reach kids from all backgrounds including the ones who didn\'t have smartphones or computers at home. This is World\'s largest such initiative in the terms of the scale it has reached.My #work was noticed by the World Economic Forum & I was one of the 50 millennial leaders selected among a pool of applicants to attend the Annual Meeting of #WEF at #Davos in 2017. My work has also been covered in the Indian Government’s Official Report on #Digital Education Initiatives in #India, reputed print, online, TV and other mediums such as, WEF, Deutsche Welle, NDTV, The Pioneer, The Hindu, Hindustan Times, & more.iScuela was awarded the Overall Winner prize in the EDUCATION FOR ALL category at the World Summit Awards held in partnership with UNESCO & UNDP, for addressing the SDGs.Feel free to connect with me if you have ideas on how we can leverage new technology such as #AI,#ML,#Metaverse & willing to collaborate.
