Senior SDM ( L7) in the AWS CloudTrail organization at AWS. Managing the multi disciplinary teams that design, build, and run the CloudTrail Data Lake platform across Seattle and HQ2. This multi-million ARR platform enables customers/enterprises to aggregate, immutably store, and query their audit and activity logs via AWS CloudTrail Lake and AWS CloudTrail Event History. I orchestrated the successful development and launch of CloudTrail Lake, transforming it into a multi-million dollar business. AWS CloudTrail Lake is a highly scalable data lake-based solution that leverages open-source technologies like Apache Hive, Apache Iceberg, Apache Spark SQL, Trino, and Presto to enable customers to easily search, analyze, and retain their AWS activity logs to improve their security coverage and gain visibility into security posture. Through targeted talent acquisition, skill development initiatives, and fostering a culture of collaboration, these teams achieved remarkable success within their first year. Key accomplishments included the introduction of critical features (adding more data sources from S3, AWS Config, AWS Audit Manager; enhancing analysis feature sets; and enabling zero-ETL federation) and integrations that enhanced the functionality and value proposition of CloudTrail Lake.
