As a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist with a valid tenure of experience at Turnitin and AlphaSense Inc, I possess a deep understanding of Billing systems, Revenue Recognition, Cash Collection, and Cash Reconciliation. In addition, I am well-equipped with hands-on experience in SaaSOptics, Salesforce Administrator Application, and MS Office.I am serving as a Billing Specialist and Accounts Receivable Specialist since 2021. As a Billing Specialist, I ensure accurate and timely invoice processing by reviewing contracts and statements, following up with internal and external stakeholders on missing information, and responding to customer inquiries. I also assist the team in day-to-day activities and provide the best-in-class customer service to achieve first-time resolution. In addition, I am responsible for processing deals that generate month-on-month revenue and assisting with month-end and close activities for Financial Reporting/MIS.As an A/R Specialist, I have a proven track record of reducing aged receivables by revamping A/R procedures and filing systems, creating spreadsheets to enhance tracking of receivables, following up on open accounts, and negotiating with clients during collection calls. I have also implemented financial controls that have saved thousands of dollars by identifying duplicate credits and revamping the merchandise-return authorization process. Furthermore, I am proficient in processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures, processing contributions received in the form of checks and wires, and ensuring top-quality standards to maintain cash balances of the participant and client.Prior to my current position, I worked as an Accounts Executive. In this role, I recorded journal entries and recorded monthly revenues and expenses. I processed bank reconciliations and handled cash and deposits using the proper accounting procedures and documentation. I also processed payroll, electronic deposits, and employee pay adjustments, and maintained and reported daily accounts.
