Develop and implement assembly processes: Design efficient and reliable manufacturing processes for assembling iPAD housings, including new product introductions (NPI), product improvements, and upgrades. Process optimization: Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve assembly processes to reduce cycle time, increase throughput, minimize defects, and lower manufacturing costs. Automation integration: Introduce and optimize automated systems and robotics where feasible to increase efficiency, reduce human error, and improve consistency. Lean manufacturing principles: Apply lean principles (e.g, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma) to streamline workflows, eliminate waste, and improve productivity. NPI planning and execution: Participate in the NPI process for new projects, ensuring smooth transitions from design to mass production. This includes defining assembly workflows, equipment requirements, and ensuring that prototypes are assembled and tested before full-scale production begins. Ensure all assembly processes meet Apple’s quality standards. Implement required inspection, testing, and troubleshooting processes to detect and eliminate defects.
