About Manglesh Kumar Ranjan

I started as a Computer Science engineer who loved solving problems with data and write codes. Then somewhere between writing SQL queries at TCS and walking into C-suite conversations at PwC, I realised, the most interesting problems aren\'t purely technical. They\'re human, commercial, and strategic all at once.That realisation has shaped everything since. Today, I work at PwC India\'s Emerging Tech practice, one of the few places where AI, Blockchain, Web3, and Quantum aren\'t buzzwords, they\'re the actual work. I lead business development and go-to-market initiatives, build client relationships from the ground up, and recently spearheaded the end-to-end execution of PwC\'s Emerging Tech Startup Challenge, coordinating across 200+ startups, multiple stakeholders, and tight timelines to bring the program to life.What I\'m proud of isn\'t just the output. It\'s that I do this while reporting directly to a Partner and engaging daily with Directors and senior executives, a level of ownership that most people don\'t get this early in their career.Before PwC, I spent two years at TCS writing codes, scripts, building BI dashboards and running data analysis on Google Cloud, BigQuery, and Looker for large retail clients. I didn\'t just report numbers, I helped leaders make better decisions with them. That earned me an Employee of the Month recognition and a 30% process efficiency improvement I still talk about in interviews.I hold an MBA from IIM Sambalpur (81.44%) and a B.Tech in Computer Science from Silicon Institute of Technology (9.18/10)- and I\'m awarded with the Best Graduate Title, a three-time Scholar Award winner, which tells you I don\'t do things halfway.I\'m an Enabling Member at I-Hub Startup Jharkhand Foundation, a non-governmental organisation working to strengthen Jharkhand\'s startup ecosystem. Yes, I\'m from Jharkhand. But honestly, that\'s not the only reason I do it. There\'s something uniquely humbling about sitting across founders who are building from scratch, with limited resources, no safety net, and complete conviction. Every conversation with them sharpens how I think about strategy, product, and what it really takes to build something from zero.
