About Mandy Xiang
I am an emerging Art Strategist working at the intersection of art, business, and cultural analysis. My work explores how cultural and commercial value is constructed, interpreted, and sustained across institutions—particularly between China and the United States. I research market dynamics, collector behavior, institutional trust, and the evolving role of technology within the global art ecosystem. My strengths include research, consumer behavior, competitive analysis, and understanding how technology is reshaping the art business landscape. I draw on both qualitative and quantitative methods to translate complex patterns into clear, actionable insights for art fairs, galleries, auction houses, and cultural organizations. With hands-on experience in a Chinese auction house and research into AI applications in authentication and pricing, I’m especially interested in how institutions balance tradition, trust, and technological innovation. I focus on connecting art value with commercial strategy to help organizations build sustainable and innovative art experiences. Long term, I aim to work at the intersection of cultural infrastructure, market strategy, and global systems.
