Manages a caseload of 120-150 students to ensure academic success towards obtaining associates degrees, certifications, and transfer requirements- Provides counseling in regards to student educational plans, career and major planning, academic challenges, and personal issues- Collaborate with EOPS, TRIO, and PSP staff and faculty to ensure students requirements and expectations are streamlined and communicated clearly to students in multiple programs- Develops, updates, and maintains accurate electronic education plans utilizing DegreeWorks and Banner systems- Co-create curriculum for the Promise Scholars Summer Institute (PSSI) to assist students in the transition to college-Develop and facilitate in person workshops and online reflective assignments that support the holistic development of students, especially as it pertains to scholar hood, academic persistence, community involvement, navigating college systems, major and career exploration - Participate in the Skyline College Comprehensive Campus Redesign to facilitate student outcomes in line with the vision of guided pathways, transformative teaching and learning strategies, and metamajors in the PSP Program - Collaborates with initiatives related to holistic student success and collaborates with offices and programs, such as Learning Communities, EOPS/CARE, CalWORKS, DRC, Veterans, Sparkpoint Center, Strategic Partnerships & Workforce Development, the Learning Center, Student Life, Dream Center, Guardian Scholars, and Career Counseling- Contributes to team reflections and program development to create accessible and consistent content for student engagement and student development
